3rd sunday in advent

Så tenner vi tre lys i kveld,
for lengsel, håp og glede
De står og skinner for seg selv
og oss som er tilstede
Så tenner vi tre lys i kveld
for lengsel, håp og glede

and translated to english:

We light three candles tonight
For longing, hope and joy.
They stands there shining by themselves
and we who present are
We light three candles tonight
for longing, hope and joy

This third light of advent poem is one day late. Sorry, but I had so much to do yesterday.
I promise to write more later and show photos of my christmas quilts which I have started to hang up now. The house is still a mess and I am starting to panic. Only a few days to christmas and I have a lot to do. My boyfriend and DS is arriving on little christmas eve and I want everything to be in order when they arrive. So we all can sit down and relax together and enjoy the christmas spirit.

It will all come together at just the right time -- that's the wonderful thing about Christmas *s*

I know how you feel. I worked like a trojan in my house Saturday but barely scratched the surface. The older two are home from school today supposedly cleaning--we'll see how that has gone when I get home from work this evening.

sucrjmBeautiful poem, May Britt ! Thanks !
(and thanks again, for your kind help with my blog fixing...)
Oh nooooo ! You're going to show us your Christmas quilts ? Another temptation for 2007 ! LOL I'm sure they're so beautiful ! Can you imagine I haven't got any Christmas quilt ? (shame on me !)... I had made one Log Cabin Christmas wreath, years ago, but I gave it to a friend who begged for it.... I'll have to put a Christmas quilt on my 2007 to-do list (and better start it in January...)LOL

Big hugs and smiles,
NADINE.

PS : no panic : everything will be ready on time.....
