New project

A little trip to the quiltshop today to buy some embroidery thread and I came home with a new pattern (and forgot to buy the embroiderythread I intended to buy). Just had to trace it at once and start stitching it. It is the newest pattern from AnnAKa and I want to make this stitchery keeper.

Saying for today:
I feed my soul,
by the stitches I sew

OH my--how many times do we all do what you did today--go in for something and get all excited about something else and come home without getting what we went for??? But I love the new project and will be back to see more as you are on my blogsite list.

May, the stitchery looks lovely and I can't wait to see it completed. They say that when we forget to pick up something or leave something behind we really want to return! But who needs an excuse hey? lol

Nydelig broderi! Ja, det er mange fristelser i quiltebutikkene - til- og med jeg har kjøpt både mønster og garn til broderi. Men broderer jeg? Neeeiii....Kanskje en gang...

How does one find a pattern like that? I tried to find AnnAka Patchwork Designs and could not find a web site. Googled her pattern and got nothing.
The pattern is so cute in the USA some of the designs are very hard to find.

Hello May-I have been reading your blog for about 2years now. In fact you inspired me to renew my interest in handwork. It seems like you have several projects going on at once (don't we all??) Does it ever get overwhelming? When do you decide (or do you) a project may not be worth finishing? I have "sew" many projects I want to start but the thought of finishing those already started stops me. BTW, you really do beautiful hand work and I love reading about you and your friends!
