Breakfast at the cabin. Together with four other quilting friends I have had a great weekend, and stitching while eating breakfast is so relaxing.
This time I had it all planned. Projects was put in boxes. Almost every piece was rotary cutted and ready to be sewed together.
Easy just to sit down and start sewing all the pieces together. I sewed the top for 12 pair of potholders. Boooooooring to sew all these squares.
More fun to sew the star blocks for this wall quilt. Now I have to find the perfect fabric for the outher border. Will bring it with me when I visit the Norwegian Quilt Associations annual meeting next weekend. Hope one of the shops there will have the perfect fabric.
Saying for today:
Coming together is a beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.

Oh, oh - the star blocks wall quilt is wonderful. I am very much loving stars this year, so that is just perfect. Really lovely and I'm sure you will find a perfect border for it.
I am pleased you had a lovely weekend with your friends. Your breakfast looks yummy and I love your wall hanging.
It's very pretty, May. I asked Hanne if she could sneak you into her luggage when she comes to Shipshe in April. Maybe next time?
Your breakfast looks yummy. There's nothing like time spent with friends doing what you love. I'm heading to retreat in April to do just that - but I need to prep just like you did - always so much easier and lots less to haul along lol. Love your project - that's so beautiful and soft looking.
Hugs - Karen

Hi! I love your Summer Blooms quilt from a few posts back. Can you tell me the name of the pattern company or where the pattern might be available? I've had no luck googling Summer Blooms. Thanks. Anne
