Weekend at the cabin

Last thursday, after august quilt meeting (will blog about that in another post) I drove up to the cabin in Evensberget to have a long weekend with 6 other ladies.  The car filled with projects as always.

It is a small cabin, but we make the most of the space we have. Everyone is sewing on several projects, both by sewing machine or hand sewing.

This time I felt for sewing on my new stitchery and I manage to finish the august block. (shown to the left). And did a few stitches on the september block.  I also did one needleturn applique for my Gossip In The Garden quilt.

And a few more shoo fly blocks for my blue quilt.

Saying for today:

sounds like fun...I'm getting together with my quilt bee for a day of sewing at the end of the month - hopefully I'll be as productive as you were!
