Applique Design - block 12

This is my block number 12 for our applique design challenge with Nadine, Darlene, Angie and Hanne. I thought I had made 12 blocks earlier, but I can only find 11 blocks now when I look. I wonder how the others are doing. What colours they have chosen. Have they started??

Very pretty block! Are the green stems machine or hand sewn?

Nice to see the block all together after looking at your tutorial. It's going to look great.

Another beautiful block. I still have not started mine - thought I had a color scheme all picked out but when I prepped one of the blocks I didn't care for it. So, I'm back to the drawing board on this one. LOL I'll figure out and I need to because I'm going to get incredibly behind.

Very pretty block. I really love the look of that quilt. If I wasn't doing the DJ quilt I would join you in your challenge - but I can only quilt so much - and still have enough hours to sit on the computer to read blogs! LOL

It looks great, seeing it all together in one, after seeing the parts and how you put it together. I hope the stray block finds its way home!

Oh May the applique is wonderful! What pattern are they from, if I might ask? I love the bright cheery colors too.

I tried this sort of applique once, but it wasn't for me. I don't like to cut my backgrounds and obviously you have to in order to get out the freezer paper!! I think it's wonderful that we can have so many styles of work and they all come out so splendid!!

You really do some beautiful work! Have been admiring all your pictures and fell in love with the Log Cabin Santa! Do you know where to buy a pattern on how to make that Log Cabin Santa? Would love to make a bunch of those for next Christmas. :-))
