I have added A peach in stitches badge for no buying fabric in january. I know we already are in the middle of this month, but I have been clever and not bought any fabric yet this month. Notice the little note saying "unless to finish a quilt". I said in my recent post that I had to buy another green fabric for my "Country Whig rose" quilt, but I promise you I will look deep into my fabric stash before doing that. Perhaps there is a green fabric suitable for this quilt. And God knows I have a lot of fabric to choose from.

Wise girl !.....
How much dark green fabric do you need for your Kim Diehl quilt border ? (I guess it doesnt count if a good friend of yours sends some to you ????.....) Wise again ! LOL.
Your AD 13th block is beautiful (I'm working on the 5th one, and would like to reach number 7 (or 8 ?) by the end of next week....).
The angel is beautiful, too.....
Biiiiig hugs & smiles !
NADINE.
i am also joining in with the "no buy" for January. I would like to be able to use as much of my stash as possible to finish my UFOs. So far so good.
Congrats on the No Buy. I haven't bought any fabric other than background fabric since sometime last fall.
Your AD block is beautiful. I thought about joining you, and Nadine encouraged me, but I think I'll pass and just watch how beautiful yours and Nadine's and Hanne's turn out.
Wow, May, your AD blocks are all gorgeous!! And I am crazy about the Simple Blessings and Simple Traditions books, so you know that I absolutely LOVE your four blocks for the whig rose!!! Your colors are just wonderful! I couldn't get your picture to enlarge for me to get a good look at the fabrics you have laid out for a border but from what I can tell they look perfect for it. And your stitchery---May Britt, you are a wonder, girlfriend!! I love it too!!! BTW, where in the world do you find the energy to get all of that done, and work too?????? :p
Since I've done anything but not buying fabrics (and other "necessities") in January, I'll follow your example in February.
MA
Sorry about being anonymous but since I do not have any blog, thats the best I can do
I just love this button. I'm going to try the 'pledge' too. Thanks, May.
How much dark green doyou need? I've got loads so you would be doing me a favour in reducing my stash.
I'm not buying either.
But buying fabric is the best part of quilting for me!
Good luck! that is such a brave pledge to make :-)
