And here is some of the blocks they have made so far.
It will be fun when they have sewed all their blocks together. Although they have used the same patterns, the fabrics make them so different. But we still have 3 more evenings left before they can show their tops. And then they have to hand quilt them on their own.It is so fun that the last days I have got comments on my tutorial about making cubes. If you do make some cubes pleas let me know.

Just starting to catch up May. Your students have done marvelous work! Isn't it just the most fun turning on others to quilting? I loved teaching the beginning classes and watching their eyes light up and their faces break into smiles when they realized what they could do. You are obviously a very good teacher.
What wonderful looking blocks. I'll bet they are having a great time with you, as well as learning from a good teacher. Six more customers to keep your quilt shop open! =)

They are doing a great job on those blocks. I know that Hands All Around is not a particularly easy block to piece traditionally. It was my previous guild's name and the block we had to have on our aprons at the quilt show. When you are a beginning quilter, that was a pretty tall order! At least they used a stencil for our name badges
What beautiful blocks! And your students must have a lot of fun learning these beautiful patterns from you! What size block are you teaching them? I love those patterns, and have pieced most of them in 6" squares for my SBS. I don't hand piece all that much (basically curves) but I love the tranquility of it. Have fun the next 3 evenings!
