Potholders and makeup purse

Today I finished the potholders I showed you yesterday. I made them big so we don't burn our fingers. Thank you Nadine for sending me this funny fabric. Before christmas I made a little cute stitchery. And today I used it as a decoration on a makeup purse. It is from a pattern designed by AnnAKa. It was very easy and quick to make. And I know I will make more of them. Still I have to find a pattern for a BIG toilet bag. I want to have a new one when I travel for our annual Quilt meeting in two weeks. Do anyone know a good pattern for a BIG toilet bag??? It seems that everyone I have made lately turns out too small . I want a BIG toilet bag. Beside this makeup purse is my new perfume called Mount Blanc. I love the smell of it :)
I also started to make a smaller makeup purse, but did not finish it. I had no zipper. So this one have to wait until I get a zipper for it. (I had several black, blue and brown zippers, but I want a white or cream for this purse)
Quilt saying for today:
Any day spent sewing, is a good day.

I love your little makeup purse! I tried to have a look at the site that you linked to--I am so sad that I can't understand Norwegian.

The pot holders turned out really well! Sooo cute! And I love the make up purse! I have been thinking of ordering that pattern, and you just made up my mind for me. About the larger toilet bag: I have ordered a pattern today actually, at http://www.quiltekroken.no/
It looks like a big one, and I'm planning to make it soon, but am not sure if I can do it and get back to you in time for the meeting in Stjordal. But maybe you can call them and check what measurement it is...

Very cute makeup purse and cool potholders :-)
You can enlarge the makeup purse pattern easily. Make a try out pattern in newspaper print for size and add handles for easy carrying.
I think Kreativ Quilt (spelling?) has a good one too on their web shop ?

Looks like you are putting your stitching time to good use.

The tulip table runner is a real welcome addition to any table.

The bag looks like a most elegant and useful addition.

Not sure I would want to use the potholders. I always seem to get something on them.

Your applique is really coming along. Glad this isn't a race.

You've been really busy making wonderful things while I was offline! Loved them all - especially the tulip table cloth. Couldn't get the car pics to come up. =(

Love your saying. I really need to hang this up in my apartment. I have spent a total of two days sewing since Christmas. I have three crazy weeks coming up, but after that, I need to schedule in many, many of those days!!

Such a great idea to put a little stitchery on the front of a little bag like that. Looks so cute. You should just design your own larger bag, I bet you could do it, and make a great bag, making it just the way you want.

The makeup purse is adorable. Could it be enlarged for a bigger version? I looked at the site but since it's not in english I would have a hard time ordering.

You did a great job (as usual!) on both the pot holders and the make up purse. I love all kind of bags and one with stitchery is still on my to-do-list!

Nydelige ting som vanlig. FLott med stitchery på toalettmappen.
Håper du ikke sliter deg ut på jobben nå og at vi ses neste helg på Hell Hotell? Gleder meg.

Hi!...what a shame that you have been so bussy! Did you even seen the new zippers that quiltbiten in Uppsala sells? they have a zipper by the yard...and they work great! I use them for all my bags!
