Owlie and new fabrics

I met the postman when I was going to the quiltshop today. And I noticed he put a big envelope in my mailbox. So I grabbed it and took it with me to the quiltshop. And look ........Owlie is tired after flying all the way from australia to Norway in just a few days. Clever boy. So he had to sit on all the new bolts of japaneese fabrics to rest a while.
Look at all these beautiful Lecien fabrics!!!!!!!!!!!! And this is just a few of them.
And these 15 fabrics climbed down in my bag to follow me home.
I'm collecting for a class I'm going to in february. But I'm afraid I have to cut into them very very soon.
Finished my little angle stitchery yesterday and now I have traced another little one to do. And perhaps I try my rotary cutter tomorrow. Driving the car yesterday was not so good for my shoulder so I have a little bit pain today. So today.......just reading books and watch tv.
Saying for today:
Behind every sewer is a huge pile of fabric

That is one cute little owl. Sorry to hear about your shoulder. I think fabric and stitchery gets us up and running so I can imagine that you are finding it hard to rest :O)

Cute little owl! It was be very tempting working in a quilt shop every time new bolts come into the store. I would probably owe more than I would earn. Your fifteen fabrics are so pretty.

The owl is darling. I love those fabrics. You showed some Lecien fabrics before, and I can't find a source for them over here in the states. I'm probably not searching for the right thing. =( Can you tell me what is printed in the selvedge of the fabric?

I hope the little owl will watch over you and makes sure not to do to much with your arm! It’s a cute typical Australian sample! I have to buy me a big bag, fabrics never jump into mine now!

Sweet little owl!! And the japanese fabrics are beautiful, as well! I am becoming QUITE addicted to them...!! Here is a pattern for a heart yoyo...the regular ones are done the same way, just using a circle. Usually double the diameter of the finished yoyo. Have fun!! Mary Ann
