Happy mothersday and finishes

Mother's Day Graphics

Today it is mothersday in Norway so I want to wish all my norwegian friends a happy mothersday. Hope you had a creative day with a lot of warm thoughts.

After showeling snow a couple of hours earlier today I have been working in my sewingroom.

And I have FOUR FINISHES!!!

These two stitcheries from Leanne B has been waiting a long time to be finished. I got the frames and the fabrics to make borders years ago. And it only took me less than an hour to finish both. Now I have to figure out where to hang them.

Next finishes is these two small purses. I started making these at our cabin trip last autumn. Just had to sew in the zipper and add the small buttons. It took me about two ours to finish this because I struggled with the zipper in these small purses.

But now I am so happy I have four finishes already in february.

I also manage to trace and cut all pieces for Bunny Hills BOM A Tisket A Tasket

Another saying for today:

The great thing about snow is that it makes
your lawn look as good as your neighbors.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the Norwegian mums.

I love the Leanne Beasley stitcheries you have done. I have the 2 Brown Chickens one ready to stitch but I will be doing mine in blue thread. I think they call it "red work in blue". I am also collecting that BOM each month that you are doing.

You have snow there, but we have floods and fire here at the moment. There has been so much devastation in my State , loss of homes, lives and animals the past few days. It is a really sad time for many here. Your blog brightens my day, thank you.

Congratulations for your FOUR finished projects. WOW! I like the framed stitcheries (nice idea) and the purses, they are great. I´ve got my quilt finished too, but will show it in some days, because the weather outside is not so good to make pictures.
Many greetings

Flotte bilder du har sydd, jeg har vel de jeg også. Kanskje jeg får lete de fram. Fint å se hvor nydelige de er ferdig sydd.

Your framed stitcheries are just beautiful May Britt - everything just suits each other perfectly, from the backing fabric and the thread, the border fabric which is just right - and perfectly suited to the frames you have chosen. Beautiful!
Kind regards - Dawn
