Easter holiday has started

First day of our easter holiday has started. And what a weather we got today. The sun was shining all day through. And it was warm and we could hear the snow melting.

First we enjoyed some time out at the porch. And guess who enjoyed that all the snow is gone from the porch. Frida loves sitting in the sun. But you can see all the snow on the ground. So we still have some weeks before all is melted.

And I guess all my friends will be shocked when they see me with skis. It has been some years since I last used them :) But today my DD and I prepared our skis and went out in the sun.

My DD is studying photography and of course she brought a camera.

Long time since I last went skiing, but it was so fun.

And of course the traditional chocolate and orange had to come with us.

And a little rest in the sun.

eating the chocolate and just enjoying the sun
And with this I wish you all a

It's the first time I see your blog and I found it so cozy and warm although the snow. While you have snow we've had a very hot summer here in Brasil. Now autumn has come. May you all have a happy easter!

Happy Easter, May! I have never been skiing, so I am in awe that you are able to! The chocolate looks lovely, and no chance of it melting. ;-)

Happy easter days to you too! What a beautiful day and so much fun and what a beautiful daughter you have. I´ve never seen before such a cool pink camera. Enjoy your last snow. We had the first barbecue of this year last friday with much sun and a temperatur of 22. It was so great to have a feeling like summer.
Many greetings

Hey May Britt! Ooooohhh! I'm not surprised to hear your legs are sore after all that hard work skiing!! I think you deserve a rest for Easter and I prescribe lots of stitching, some chocolate, some refreshing or warm drinks (depending on time of day and temperatures!) and the company of good friends and family!! Have a very Happy Easter!! Bear Hugs! KRIS

Hi May Britt, what a lovely place you live in. The snow and sunshine and all the trees are beautiful. The skiing also looks like fun - sore knees though? What is the tradition behind the chocolate and orange?
