Building houses

I have finished block 1 and 2 of Bunny Hills Autumn Houses. Well almost.....I just have to stitch the words Høst (autumn) on the first block. It has been so fun doing the applique on these blocks.....

so I prepared block 3 right away.

Focus focus focus

Saying for today:

It takes hands to build a house,
but only hearts can build a home.

It was good seeing the back of your cut applique pieces...it is freezer paper, right? Will you now glue the edges over onto the paper? Do you hand applique them on or machine stitch? Do you cut away the background fabric to pull off the paper after the applique is done?
