Saturday I went to celebrate my friend Laila's birthday. But after coming home I just sat down in my chair with a quilt on my lap and just relaxed. A little bit applique done on my Autumn Houses. Soon finished block six. Sleeping in front of the tv.
I have done all the stitching on a new little bag (pattern from Northern Quilts). I envied the one Laila had made, so I just had to start mine :)
And looking through my new book that I bought when I visited Trondheim. This is such a wonderful book filled with ideas. Can't wait to start on something from this. I could not show this book in my post from Trondheim, because I had also brought one home as a gift for Laila. And if I had, she had asked to see it when she visited me last wednesday, and then it had not been a surprise gift for her LOL. If you want to have a look inside this book you can visit Quiltmania
Hope I feel better real soon because right now I just not feel for going into my sewinroom. But I have so many things I want to start sewing on. Like the rosebag, the journal cover for Early Bird Christmas Crafting and some christmas gifts, finish my new bag I started on some weeks ago, starting on a little quilt for the new princess in the family and all the new projects I want to start. Still a month to my summer vacation, and so hectic at work.

God bedring. Forkjølelse om sommern er ikke gøy, men det er ut som du har litt du kan se på mens du er syk da.
I wish you a speedy recovery !

My grandmother was born in Tronheim. And I've recently discovered the Elm Creek series and love it! It has really inspired me to keep plugging away at my quilting and to try new blocks.
