A crime in the middle of the night

Rusken is usually a very nice boy, but tonight he murdered my sweet scissorpal which I got from Stina some time ago.

Coming into my livingroom I found the pieces all over the floor. Picked it up, but one part is still missing. Have told Rusken to be so kind and find it for me, but I guess he have hidden it to play with it later. Hopefully I will be able to fix it.

Perhaps this was his way to tell me: I WANT TO GO OUTDOORS AGAIN....NOW!!! He has been allowed outdoors now to explore a new world. And he loves it. He runs out and in and out and in the door. He have met the cat next door and this cute little cat, and they have all accepted him as a new cat in the area. But there is a lot of cats in the area and I guess I can expect some fights now and then. Chasing flies and birds is his new hobby.

Not so much sewing this week. Been so tired after long and hard days at work. But have relaxed with some stitchery on AnnAKa's new christmas BOM, and applique a little on my It Takes Two quilt.

Expecting friends over for dinner this evening. I hope they bring some stitching so we can relax with that after dinner. Coffee, cake and stitching is wonderful together with friends.

Saying for today:

Most cats, when they are Out want to be In,
and vice versa, and often simultaneously.

Naughty Rusken!! But all the purrs and cuddles etc make up for little things like that!
I absolutely love the idea of relaxing with some stitching or sewing with friends after dinner (If I don't sew in the evenings while watching TV, I fall asleep!)

Oh dear! I do hope Rusken hasn't swallowed the rest of it! Great to hear he gets along with other cats in the area. We are not allowed to let our cats out here. They have to stay indoors and in an enclosed cat run outside.

Rampegutten Rusken! Ser ut for at han er kommet i tennårene :o)
Artig å se at han koser seg ute.
Ha en riktig fin helg.

Herlige Rusken, ikke godt å holde seg i katteskinnet når en er en leken og oppfinnsom ungkatt :))

I don't have a cat but know they can be a bit mischievious at times. Hope you find your missing part.
Your applique project intrigues me. Your curves look so nice and evenly stitched.

You are totally right about the out and in. My sweet Rodger who disappeared six weeks ago was very much like that. He didn't know where he wanted to be!! Sorry about the causalty - hope you can fix it.

Oh, that Rusken! Why do they choose the things we love the most to play with. LOL! My cat loves to go outside before but I only let her if I am out with her too. I am thinking about getting her a leash and walking her with the dogs. LOL!

I guess he got restless in the night and couldn't sleep. I hope he didn't eat the part you are missing :) Well good luck putting it back together again.

I have one of those lovely scissor fobs that Stina sent me for Christmas a few years ago and I know I'd be upset if something happened to it. It is one of my favorites. Hopefully you can repair it. But isn't it true that no matter what mischief our animals get into, we love and forgive them anyway? Well, most of the time. *wink*

And you're right May Britt...there's nothing like a quiet evening spent having dinner then stitching with friends.
