Pincushions

Some time ago Blueberrylane Design had a give away contest where we were challenged to show our most used pincushion. I did............and I won The Pincushion book by Lynett Andersson. I am so happy because I had been looking for that one for a while, but it was sold out everywhere. But now it's in the mail to norway. When I showed my pincushions I told you I was in charge of a pincushion exhibition at our annual quilt meeting and I promised you I would show you.

Here it is. We received 85 pincushions to have in the exhibition. From new funny ones to very old antique ones. So it was a pleasure to put them in two display cases.
So now have a good look at all the beautiful pincushions and perhaps you'll get some ideas for new ones for yourself. I got permission from most of the ladies who owns the pincushions to show it on my blog.

Hope you have enjoyed looking all these georgious pincushions. I know I got a lot of ideas of making new ones. And I still hope to find some antique ones at an auction.
If you come back tomorrow I'll show you photos from all the shops that had stalls at the meeting. They all had so much ideas to show and SO much stuff to buy. Did I buy something........you'll see tomorrow..........perhaps LOL

Saying for today:
I'm addicted to the needle and thread

Så dejligt at det var en god udstilling, skønt med de mange forretninger og alle fristelserne, fin udstilling af nålepuder.
