Angel vitamin weekend

You all probably remember that this weekend I was going to meet
We arrived in sunny hot summer weather and Lise had arranged a beautiful table at the porch. Look at those cute plates. Of course we had to eat from angel plates. An angelmeeting had to have angel plates :)
Arriving early at saturday we started to stitch at once. And we enjoyd sewing out in the sun.
A visit at Lises sewing room. And of course we had to shoot photos :)
I started sewing my angel blocks almost two years ago so I was asked to show my blocks first. I have finished ten blocks. The four up in the left corner is the one I'm working on now. The plan is to finish them in my summer vacation. And I have two small blocks with hearts to prepare.
Lise served a tasty dinner with chicken. And cheers to all the other angel stitchers in this club. Stina and Marica.............you should have been here with us. But you have another chance ........we norwegian angels are having another meeting in about two weeks.
Here is Lise sewing on her angels. She is such a fast stitcher and will soon catch up with me.

Hanne working on her block.

And Anne Ida working on her heart block for this quilt.

And of course the others also had to show their blocks.
This is Lises angel blocks. She is doing them in japaneese fabrics.
Anne Ida is planning to make her angles in green and blue
And Hannes angels are also in japaneese and civil war fabrics.
We had a great weekend and the best is that we are going to repeat it in about two weeks.

Look.........isn't this lady cute. Lise made this with her embroidery machine and we got to choose one each. And this lady came home with me. She looks a little like me..........doesn't she???

Saying for today:

Of course there is such things as angels.
Only sometimes they don't have wings ...
and we call them friends.
