An old WISP

Loooooooooooong time ago (hundred years) I bought this Jinny Beyer kit called Trip Around The World. My friend Irene (no blog) wanted us to start sewing on this project again and I agreed. But I thought I had done more on it. Just lesson one and two was done.

So we started all over again with this WISP. Irene has done a lot more on her kit so she started to draw the pieces for lesson six. And I was glad I found all pieces for lesson three precut in my box.

But I hate sewing on paper.

Irene cutting more fabric for her pieces.
And me sewing on my pieces.
Did I mention I hate sewing on paper.

But I manage to finish 8 of 16 rows this evening.
Irene and I had a creative evening in my sewingroom.
And now we both have homework to do until next time we meets.

Saying for today:
Sisters share
the memories of yesterday,
the joys of today,
and the hopes of tomorrow.

Don't you just seem to get so much more done with the inspiration of a friend!!??? I have many of 'those' projects....I just need the prompting!

Oooh, I can't wait to see this quilt May Britt! I thought a trip around the world was made out of squares only -- this looks very cool!

All of Jenny Beyer's things are so beautiful, so I know you are going to end up with a real treasure.

Hi May Britt,
your sewing on paper looks good, even though you don´t like to do it at all.

Trip around the world is a beautiful quilt, but it must be a lot of work.
