Perfect sewing weather

Easter is for me sitting out on the porch in the sunshine (not skiing like all other Norwegians). But today it was the perfect sewing weather. Snowing and raining, but it is in a way really good, because this makes the snow melt down faster. And now I want spring and summer.

Hanne and I started early this morning (after a long night watching movies, redwine and sewing) with our projects. As you se we have a lot of creativity among chaos.

I opened my Yoko Saito bag kit, and it was soooooooooo difficult to start cutting into these wonderful fabrics.

But now I am hooked on sewing the "Yoko Saito way".
This is a perfect way for me to sew.

And I love using the 4-in-1 tool.

And I use the straw needles I got a long time ago from a friend in Usa. Love them. Never seen them in Norway earlier, and now I regret not using them earlier. Note to myself: find more of these needles.

And the blocks for the bag are growing fast. This is fun.

Saying for today:

Any day spent sewing, is a good day.

At least the snow is good for something, it gives you time to sew!
Your bag will look nice, I like it already.

Ha ei fortsatt fin påske, her har vore pent ver i dag, men eg har fått ei lei forkjøling, så eg har halde meg på syrommet.

What a beautiful view from your verandah. Those fabrics are wonderful and I can understand why you didn't want to cut into them but your blocks look fantastic and I can't wait to see the finished bag. Have a great sewing weekend.
