Focus on projects

A new year with possibilities to start on new projects and finish old ones.
My goals for 2011 is just to have fun with my hobby.

Like last year I am going to have weekly focus projects. And I know Hanne also is doing her focus list. I will have both projects with my sewingmachine and projects I can relax in front of the tv. And I will try to stick to the projects I choose. But of course there will always be temptations so I allow myself to change this list.

The focus projects this first week of 2011 will be:

* Quilting on my Leannes House quilt.
Have just the outher border left to quilt.

* The Rustic christmas heart table runner.
Stitchery done and the fabric cut.

* Placemats for two.
Christmasgift from my friend Bjørg. Nothing done so far on this.

* Angel among us BOM.
Block one done, stitchery for block two done, working on stitchery block 3

* Life is Beautiful BOM
Will enjoy stitching on these cute blocks. Two blocks finished by now.

Hope you all will get a lot of creative moments in your sewingroom in 2011.
I know I will :)

And maybe you want to join me and Hanne in these weekely focus lists.
Make one on your blog too.

Saying for today:

If you don't know where you are going,
you will probably end up somewhere else.

Happy New Year May Britt, I think I am going to make more quilts this year. I have lots of fabric put away so 2011 will be my year of the quilt. Good luck with your list.

What a good idea, I make a mental list in my head for the week but maybe writing it down will help me. I have the same goal overall, to enjoy whatever I'm doing.

You are a lady with a plan! Lots of stitching planned for the New Year. I have a basket full of stitcheries waiting for my attention. I would like to empty it out this year but I think there are too many in there for one year's work.

Hallo. Kanskje jeg skal lage meg en liste. Har tenkt på det før, men nå er kanskje tiden inne? Klem

I am always impressed by the amount of work you accomplish. Your work is so well done and an inspiration to many of us. I also just caught up with your blog and really enjoyed reading about Ruskin. He's going to keep you on your toes. Hopefully Frida will teach him how to behave in the sewing room!
I specially like that you've given yourself room to try new things and made enjoying your hobby the primary goal. Sometimes I think we forget that. Happy new year May Britt.

Hey May Britt! Oh I can't wait to see all of your wonderful focus projects for this year! IT's so much fun to watch projects as they progress. Hopefully it will inspire me to get a bit organised too cos my focus is pretty ... well ... UN-focussed! Tee! Hee! Hee! Have fun stitching! Bear Hugs! KRIS
