A new travelling bag

Finally I have been able to sew again. Not much, but enough to keep me from going totally insane :) Days without sewing is not fun, but right now it was really important to relax and get my head back on place. But a whole week with no sewing.........booooooooooooooooring:)

Some time ago I started to make myself a new travelling bag. And the last days I have done the last finishing details on it. I have added some new things on this bag that was not in the pattern. Now I have a new bag when I travel to the Norwegian annual quilt meeting in march.

I am so proud that I have made this bag just out of fabrics from my stash. The only thing I had to buy was the habalon batting inside the bag. The one I had was just a little too short for this bag. Perhaps I should make some makeup purses or drawstring bags to go with it too???? I have some scraps left, and it would have been fun to have used all of it :)

Rusken have found himself a new favorite place.

Wonder why there is so much cat hair on my fabrics :)

Saying for today:

in her case, an automatic safety valve device
for dealing with happiness overflow.

I'm so sorry, May Britt, life caught me up and I missed your last posts... Now I do hope your neck will soon get better, I know how painful this must be. Take care and be patient, it's important.
AND, by the way, your new bag is sensational ! Congratulations ;>)
