What’s on my design wall

……I mean on my design doors.  I do not have a big enough wall so I can put up a design wall, so I use the doors and some tape to hang the projects up.

002

This is one of the projects the project I am working on at the moment.  It was a secret project in the beginning, but now I can show you.  As you all see it is my version of Gail Pan’s Winter Blooms.  I am making Summer Blooms.

Why it has been a secret?  Just had to get it confirmed that I am meeting Gail Pan and Helen Stubbings when they are coming to Tønsberg in the end of March.   I am so doing my happy dance right now.  They are coming to Quiltefryd in Tønsberg and I am going together with three good quilting friends  to both the inspiration evening and joining tuesdays workshop.  So now this quilt will be given focus, so I can show at least the finished top when I meet Gail.

Saying for today:

The beauty of life does not depend
on how happy you are,
but how happy others can be
because of you

I like to make those kind of circle flowers. Fairly easy to do. And they do look like summer.

Mae Britt I use a flannel backed table cloth that I tape up with blue painters tape to my closet doors. that way I can roll it carefully if I need to take it down. Gosh I love these blocks, so cute!
