Focus this month

I had a wonderful time at my vacation in Alanya, but it was good to come back home too.  To my sewingmachine and all projects.

002

I had brought with me some stitchery on my vacation and I really manage to stitch a little bit.  I almost finished the stitchery to the right and this weekend I stitched the rest of it and sewed together the block. It felt so good spending some time by my sewingmachine so I sewed together the two other blocks too.

003

Now I have five blocks finished for the Red Home quilt.  And this will be one of my focus projects in september.  I have already the next block prepped.

004

I have made some progress on Scandinavian Christmas  All main blocks almost done.  Just have to stitch some details on the snowman and the Santa.

005

12 of 18 small blocks are done. Now I have to find more fabric to make the rest of the snowflake blocks. My goal is to have this quilt finished for this Christmas.

006

I also stitched the block on the top when I was on my vacation.  This is the Secret Christmas project in Quiltemagasinet (an norwegian quilt magazine).  Now waiting for part 4 of 5.  Love these cute Santas.

008

And of course I had to start a new stitchery.  Love this new project design Anni Downs. It feels like I am catching a cold so I decided a new projects is the perfect medicine right now.  Relaxing in front of the tv, stitching a new project, a cup of hot tea and a quilt over my feet.

Saying for today:

What wonderful stitchery red blocks. My fav has to be your elves and mushrooms from the magazine. They are adorable! Have you made Gail Pan's Busy Little Christmas Elves? There is a small design as well as the main quilt.

I hope you avoid getting ill.
