Today Hanne and I drove down to Tønsberg to meet Sue Daley. She is visiting Norway for her third time and she had brought several new quilts to show at the trunkshow this evening. I will just show “the new ones” for me.
This is the quilt we will learn in class tomorrow . and I love it This is the third time I meet Sue and finally I am able to take a class with her. Looking forward to tomorrow. I know I will have a wonderful day both tomorrow and saturday.
This is also a new quilt for me, and I love it.
A beautiful quilt with tiny stitchery.
Love this one too.
Saturday we are going to have a class making this cute tablerunner.
Sunday Sue is having a class making this quilt. It is her new fabric range in bright colours. I am not taking this class.
This is also a new quilt and I love it. The pattern package is already in my shopping basket.
And this quilt…….. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
Guess who is going to make this one soon
Quiltefryd is the host for this weekends classes with Sue Daley. And they had brought a lot stuff from their shop. So there will be a lot of temptations this weekend. But still I am going to have a quick visit to the real shop one of these days. Quiltefryd is a wonderful shop and I need some light backgroundfabrics.
Sue is giving a little demonstration in fuzzy cutting.
Look at this wonderful quilting.
Close up of the quilt in tomorrows class.
I had brought with me my basket quilt to show Sue. So fun to show it to her.
And this is my Antique Sampler quilt. I finished the top Sunday evening, just because I wanted to show this one to Sue too.
There was a lot of ladies at the trunk show this evening, and they all enjoyed the shopping area.
Hanne and Kate having a good time at the trunkshow.
And then there was time for some pizza and wine with good friends. And I know we’ll have a great time in Sue’s class tomorrow.
Saying for today:
