Sunny Easter

This Easter has been wonderful.  We have had sun every day and have been able to enjoy the sun outside on the porch. Well dressed of course because it is still very cold at night and in the shadows.  But in the sun…………so wonderful and we have all got a little bit of sunburn too.  Yesterday we made waffles outdoors.

Having full house all easter.  First Hanne came for a sewing visit and then my son and his girlfriend came.  And my daughters boyfriend has also been visiting us a lot.  So wonderful to have my whole family home and to see that they are all happy.

I have finished quilting all the baskets on this quilt and have now traced the outher border.

And while sitting out on the porch and later watching movies yesterday I almost finished quilting one side. Today I will trace another side.  This border is so fast to quilt.

Today is my last day of the easter vacation and it looks like it will be another beautiful sunny day out on the porch. The snow is melting fast and I hope that in a couple of weeks all snow is gone and we have spring.

Saying for today:

Koselig med familiebesøk, og spesielt når været er så fint. Og vafler - ingenting slår det......
Quilten din blir kjempelekker. Er imponert over alle som håndquilter. Tror ikke jeg noen gang får gjort det. Lykke til med slutten....

So happy you got some sunshine for Easter. Love the quilting on your baskets quilt, you have been very dedicated to get it done so quickly.

Looks like you had a lovely Easter. Winter is still holding on here in New England as well. We still have snow piles and I haven't seen any spring flowers yet, but Easter Sunday was lovely and I was able to open a couple of windows for a few hours, which is always nice after a very long winter! Your quilt is coming along beautifully.

Do you use a hoop for quilting? I have been doing some hand quilting and have developed tendonitis in my arm; I'm thinking about putting it in my lap without a hoop and trying to quilt it.

Even though I didn't spend Easter with my children, I did get to see them some - isn't it so nice? And it was nice enough weather that we got to go on a bicycle ride. Wonderful. Just two weeks and we will be heading to the Netherlands for a 3+ week holiday. Wonderful, again.

Din korgquilt förtjänar en fin kantavslutning. Och det har Du "hittat" en perfekt mall till, tycker jag. Det är ett härligt arbete som Du håller på att sy.

Great vacation might be your dream. Travel to Bali is not always expensive as there are many international flights providing special rates for early bird booking. There are also many selection of Kuta hotels offering special discount rates including Seminyak villas and budget Bali accommodation
