A surprise for my DD

My DD mentioned when I started to make my sewingbag that she wanted a pink one. So yesterday I made this little stitchery with her name on.
And today I made this pink purse for her. She does not know I have made it and now it standing in the stairs up to her room. So she will get a surprise when she comes home.
Now I'm heading back into my sewingroom. My plans now is to prepare some stitcheries. Nice to have something ready to take out on the porch when the sun is shining. I am still home from work due to my hurting arm, and I guess when I call the doctor tomorrow I have to stay home some more weeks. Waiting for some physiotherapy on my arm. I have to take care of my arm, so I can't do very much sewing. But stitchery is easy to do because I do not move my arm so much.

this is really pretty - I am also working on stitchery - I have downloaded a book on my new mp3 player so I can listen to the book while I stitch

Very pretty bag.

Being a "russ" does sound like a lot of fun. The nice thing is when they are all dressed in red and having fun - everybody knows why and celebrate with them - instead of getting upset at them. Good tradition.

Congratulations to your daughter on her graduation.

The stichery bag is lovely! I'm with you on having hand work ready to be picked up. I have a basket that has a few applique squares in it, ready for me whenever I am. Please do take care of yourself!

Catching up on past posts...Russ. I'm with you, I want to be 18 again. What a pretty gift for your daughter and I love how you left it on the stairs. How did she like it? You have a nice space for classes. Just love all the photos and descriptions.
