Some sunday sewing

Today was sewing weather. Cold windy and almost rain. So better stay inside to finish up some of my commitments from previous post.

I've finished my project for you in the Stitchers Angels club. Here's a little sneak peak of it. Now I just have to finish writing the pattern. And then you have to wait until it's my week to show you what it is. Making this sample I also have finished the first gift for my swap partner in this swap.

I've managed to finish the bag I'm sending to my swap partner in Lindas bag/bucket swap. But I still want to make something extra for her. I'm so happy I'm ahead of the deadline now....yoohooo SMILE I've plenty of time to do that.
And this is also something secret I'm working on. Stitcheries from Anni Downs new book Simple Pleasures. Going to include these in something for someone LOL I have some PIF gifts to deliver soon. But won't tell you what it will be.
And I've played with fabrics in my sewingroom. I want to start making Rosalie Quinlands "Joy of Life". So I've started to mix colurs for it. Do you think these will do??? I still have to look for more pink fabrics (do not have much of that) combine it with more red fabrics, and of course find more green fabrics. I'm going to make it together with a friend. Hopefully we can push eachother to get things done and we'll manage to finish it some day.

Saying for today:

An optimist laughs to forget
A pessimist forgets to laugh

I think those fabrics will work very well for the Joy of Life quilt...it is such a pretty quilt - I have done three or four of the blocks but have been sidetracked...again!! LOL...you have done well with all you stitching! I have the pattern for the bag picked out but need to get some more fabrics for it as I don't have many in the colour way I have chosen for my swap partner. I must make a list of all the swaps or I will miss a deadline...LOL

Å, jeg gleder meg til å se hva det blir, MayBritt!
Er litt i tvil om hva jeg skal tenke på å sy, så det blir godt med noen skikkelige ideer etterhvert.
Lekre stoffer!
