Spring Sewing Party part 1

A whole day sewing together with blogging friends.

And I started my day doing some needleturn watching OL from Vancouver.

Sewing on my Flutterby quilt and watching another gold medal to Norway was a perfect start on this day.

In my sewingroom the Easter bunnies quilt is on my ironing board. Want to baste it today so I hopefully can have it quilted before easter. So I have to look for a backing for it.

And my Bread and Butter quilt is on the wall. Going to cut the outher border for it today.

The fabrics needed is laying on my cutting table. So my plans for the Spring Sewing Party is all set up for today. See you later :)

Saying for today:

A friend is one of the nicest things you can have,
and one of the best things you can be.

You've made a good start. I'm planning to watch the Olympic highlights this afternoon (not much chance of any more medals for the UK I fear) and do some hand quilting. My first project for the day is done and I'm now about to start on the second. Have a fun day.

Excellent start!! I actually have that Bread and Butter Quilt in my TBM 9to be made) group. I picked up the new Whimsical line that I think will translate well to this pattern. I can't wait to receive the FQs!c See you through out the day!

Hi May Britt, I enjoy reading your lovely blog and seeing all the wonderful things you have created. I was wondering what pattern you were doing for the cat stitchery?
