Christmas baking weekend

003

After all the baking yesterday we had a lovely dinner together. Pinnekjøtt (salted and dried rib of mutton) and of course red wine and aquavit.

010

Second sunday in advent today and we lit to lights and opened our adventgifts.

007

Thank you Nancy, Hanne and Bente for the lovely adventgifts.

011

And then some more baking.

013

Teamwork is alwas fun in the kitchen

016

I made krumkaker and Hanne made coconut macarones.

020

And always there is some for tasting.

024

Another cake is ready to go into the oven

032

3 sorts of christmascakes ready to be shared and we also have the smultinger from yesterday to share too. This has been such a fun weekend. Teamwork cake baking and we will do the same next year too.

Yum. All your baked goods look yummy, but I must admit I'm partial to macaroons. Next weekend is my time for holiday baking. I think I may try to bake some....I've never made macaroons before.
