First finsh this month. Love this little table centre that I finished today. It is from the Red Home book by Natalie Bird. It was very easy to make.
I will use it on my round table at my front porch. That’s where I am sitting when it is too hot on the other porch. Perhaps I have to find a smaller flower now because it is hiding the stitchery.
Then I went together with two friends to the quiltshop. I was going to buy some backing for my Red Home quilt. I found the backing, and it is now washed and ready.
I also found this Heat Press Batting Togther. I have a lot of batting that I can put together to bigger pieces. And this tape is used to tape the pieces together. Looing forward to give this a try.
Another UFO is in progress of being finished. I have promised Hanne that I will focus on my UFO’s this month……and next month when we start Tour de Fibre. But that is in between my sewing on my Floral Beauty. This quilt was already basted and ready to be quilted. And actually this is the first time I have done some freemotion quilting with my new sewingmachine.
And I really love this quiltfoot. Much more easier to see where I am going with my lines, but I still have to practise a lot more.
Saying for today:

Lovely table centre....a nice way to use up some favourite red scraps. Doing well with the quilting on your new machine.
lovely circular centre, checked out the book but it is not on amazon in UK yet fingers crossed it will be available soon.
Jag måste få säga att den runda duken som Du broderat och sytt är så jättesöt. Jag tycker att det var effektfullt med de uddarna som Du har sytt runt om duken.

Hva går Tuor de Fibre ut på? Høres spennende ut.

A great spot you have for stitching - your little table mat looks adorable.
