A weekend in Oslo, visiting my DS and his girl and meeting his MIL for the first time.
And of course I took the bus early to Oslo so I could spend some time visiting one of my favorite shops Katrines Quiltestue. Take a look at these photos and you understand why I love this shop. I promised Stina I should take some photos ...........I know she's so wanting to go to this shop. So Stina, you just have to plan a trip to visit me, promise to take you shopping in several quiltshops.

It is filled with beautiful fabrics, patterns, samples and inspiration.
I spendt several hourse there yesterday and this is what I bought. I was looking for polkadots and ric-rac for the new swap I have joined, and I found this. Know exactly what to make for my swap partner, I don't know who it is yet, but I hope she likes brown and pink. But perhaps I change my mind when I learn who she is, maybe she loves other colours.
I bought this booklet too. It is Natalie Birds newest booklet...................
and look at this quilt inside the book. Perfect for a quilter. There were a lot of other patterns for small quilting items also in this book. You know understand why I had to have this book.
I also bought a Tilda stitchery , some Tilda fabrics and ricracs at Panduro. And a little cute pencile tube.
Several girls are sending me photos of the Stitchers' Angels sewingbag and I will show you them in another post later. So please send me more photos. I love to see how you bags looks like :)
Saying for today:
Anyone who says money can't buy happiness
doesn't know where to shop.

Looks like a fun shop to visit *s*
The shop is awesome, wish I had one like that here in Reykjavík.
Qualitytime behind the royal castle! This new book of yours, hmmm. I received an invitation from Kathrine to a Lise Bergene meeting, but as I'm 50 km away, I don't think I'll reach it. Did you see Lise's book? Did you like it?
Oh my, what a beautiful shop to visit. I love your goodies that you purchased. That book looks very interesting. I may have to look into buting this one!
Jeg var også i Oslo for en måned siden og besøkte Katrines Quiltestue for første gang. Nydelig butikk og koselig dame :))

I envy you! Here we don't have any shop like that,... sorry, there isn't a single shop who sells anything for patchork! Only some little shops on-line with some fabrics and nothing more! That's why I have to shop from New Zeland and Australia!

Wonderful shop - I'd love to spend some time there. And, I love all your purchases.
Those pictures...wow...a pleasure for our eyes. Thank you May Britt for sharing this beauty.
Hugs from Spain.
Ooh May Britt - if I'm the lucky one who gets your rick rack and polka dot swap - I LOVE the fabric and colour choices! I also love the 'red corner' of your LQS!
Kind regards - Dawn
What a delightful shop. It is light and airy. I hate when a quilt shop is dark - you can't see true color. How fun for you.
The windows in that shop are lovely. It appears to be in a lovely older building. What a delightful place to go exploring.
You did exercise great restraint, but I like what you did buy.
Hope the MIL meeting went well.
The nice thing about seeing pictures like this is that I know I could walk into that shop, not speak a word of the language, and still walk out with a melted credit card and lots of goodies. =)
Du er så flink til å ha med deg fotoapparatet, May Britt. (og tilogmed huske å bruke det :-)))
Jeg er stadig innom sidene dine for å kikke, det er alltid så mye koselig å se
Wow! Wishing I could be there!
