"Blues for mee" is one of my favorites. The colour blue is not me. But I was so provocated by my friends. They always teased me not using any (or just a little bit) blue in my quilts. So in secret I made this, brought it with me to a quilt meeting, lay in on the table and did not say it was me who had made it. Nobody guessed it was mee :) But I love this quilt. It is made of miniatyr ohio star. Each block is 3x3 inches.
"Flora" is made after a pattern from Lise Bergene. Love these colours mixing pink, lilac, orange, blue (I started to use blue in a lot of my quilts now). To loose up the stright lines I quilted circles all over the top.

Suddenly I cannot load photos on my blog. So I have to wait until tomorrow showing more of my quilts. Grrrr.....
My swapping hearts is both swapped. Kate got the cream one and Ati the blue one. I am looking forward to receive mine.
Sandi told me today about a site called Heavenly embellishment today and I ordered som baggies of goodies. Four bags of embellishment for my new hearts. And I received a mail from the shop telling I was the first from Norway to order from them. SMILE. Pati told me about a new book "Simple traditions" by the quilter Kim Diehl. I love her first book "Simple blessings" and this is a book I just have to buy.

I like both of those quilts! The varieties of fabric is wonderful. I love to use blue in quilts - it seem so fresh & clean to me. But I use all kinds of colors and fabric types! I am just a fan of scrappy!
Both of your quilts are lovely. Can you post a photo of the hearts that you receive. How many more will you be making?
I like both of those quilts - very, very pretty!
The blue quilt is lovely!
Looks fresh and pretty...
I found you from your comment on abeautifulcraft. I love your little blue quilt. Blue *is* one of my favorite colors in quilts, so this one just speaks to me. The second one was also very bright and cheerful.
Sometimes when blogger has a lot of people on it, I find it takes forever and doesn't always upload pictures. I either wait for a bit, or I try immediately again, and usually it goes okay, but not always. Sunday morning and Wednesday night in my time zone (US mountain time) seem to be quick and easy, with few bloggers online.
May, Your quilts are wonderful!
