Visit at the museum and Butterfly garden

Today was another wonderful day. Nadine and I had planned a visit to the museum. I had hoped for a sunny day, but is was clouded and about zero degrees. And it was so quiet outside. Just the sound of the river and the birds First we visited inside the museum which shows a lot of old norwegian traditions, the norwegian wild animals (stuffed of course). I know Nadine took a lot of photos inside the museum so I guess she will blog about it later.
On the outside museum there is a lot of old houses. I love walking at this place and just feel the atmosphere.
Here is Nadine outside one of the old houses. It's closed in wintertime, but during summertime you are able to walk and look inside the houses.
We had to cross a suspension bridge. When walking on it you can feel it moving up and down. A little bit scary I think LOL

And guess what.............
I got my Butterfly garden today. And I've already pieced the first block. So now I will trace the stitchery and prepare the applique. I love the colours and fabrics in this and I'm so happy I ordered it from Honeysuckle cottage.
Tomorrow is another big day. Nadine and I'm expecting visit from Hanne, Anne Ida, Laila, Irene and Bjørg. Lunch and dinner is already prepared and I guess there will be a lot of stitching, laughing and chatting.
Saying for today:

You have got your Butterfly garden and I have not, I hope it is just because it has to travel a little farther than to you. Your landscape is so beautiful.

I finally have had the time to come visit to see what you and Nadine have been up to. I think you two are having too much fun, lol. The pictures of your world are wonderful, very cold and crisp. The old houses look interesting, but the bridge looks scary, I agree. So glad you are having a good visit.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of that gorgeous scenery. My goodness it did look cold and no way would I cross a snow covered suspension bridge...you would probably have to drag me across it in good weather. Ok now, I am getting intriqued by this butterfly garden so many of you are talking about.
