Bag galore

Visiting a quiltshow you always see women carrying bags. I had my camera ready and took a lot of photos of some of the bags I saw during last weekend. And this is only a small part of all the bags I saw. The women were hurrying so fast (perhaps to visit the shops) so they had no time to stand still so I could take photos of their bags. And I was also so busy all weekend so there is a lot of wonderful bags I do not have photos of. All owners of these bags have given me permission to show the photos on my blog.

So let's go
Bags galore
enjoy the photos and get inspired

Do you now want to make a new bag right away???
I do :)
Saying for today:
A girl can never have too many bags.

I love making bags, you can be so spontaneous when you make bags, I have bought a pattern for a quilted bag and I can't wait to have a go... I tend to make crochet bags but I am about to dive head first into quilting and embroidery!

You have inspired me!

Excellent post. I think I saw a theme - more east/west styles as opposed to north/south. I'll be studying these photos some more to get more ideas.

The second last one looks like the Chelsea Bag by Lazy Girl patterns.
If you google LazyGirl you will find them. Have the pattern but have not made that one.
Will probably make one I have adapted from a free tutorial 1 hr bag on her blog for my giveaway prize if I get enough participants.
I have adapted it to quilt and line it.

That is a lovely collection of handmade bags May. I also took a few while the girls were waiting to go in to our recent 'Girls Day In The Country', and put them on my blog, but your collection is so much better.
Thanks for showing them to us.
