Spending time in my sewingroom

Some weeks ago I became the 1000th follower and I have been waiting for my prize.

And yesterday an envelope came in my mailbox with these four spools of aurifil thread. Thank you Madame Samm.
Hanne, Bente (no blogger) and I have agreed to have a BOM-sewing between us three. We decided to make Angel among us (because all three of us had the pattern). And now I have finished the first block (the october block). I am using fabircs from my own stash and have decided to stitch only in variated Cosmo blue thread.

I have also finished the stitchery for block number two (november block). Hope I get some time doing the rest of it this month, but now I have to get focused on making Christmas gifts.

The last days I have prepared a samle for my needleturn workshop on saturday. I decided to give the ladies some good shapes to practise needleturn, and if they want they can turn it into a pillow like my sample. I still have some finish to do, and then put all the papers together for a nice compendium. Will show you the pillow later when I have it finished.

I really think I should have some priority on cleaning up in my sewing room shelfs. Promise it will be done in good time before Christmas. First some priority on Christmas gifts :)

Saying for today:

Please don't feed the dust bunnies.

Oh, my. No, don't feed the dust bunnies. They do quite well all on their own!

Lovely angel blocks. Your needleturn block looks lovely too.
I'm glad my sewing room isn't the only one looking like a bomb exploded. My husband asked is this a work in progress I said no a BIG MESS in progress. Hope to clean it up soon.
Have fun with your class.

First off you will LOVE the aurafil thread. That is all I use now. But what I really LOVE is your teaching basket. I had no idea that is how it would turn out. Now I am upset I can't take that class - it is adorable!

Hey May Britt! Your angel blocks are looking gorgeous - can't wait to see your finished quilt! :0) And your sewing room looks a bit like mine ... I think my cupboards spat all of the contents onto my sewing room floor ... and the furniture ... and the ironing board ... and ...! Tee! Hee! Hee! I call it 'creative chaos' and promise myself I'll clean it up ... one day - Happy stitching! Bear Hugs! KRIS

Godt å se flere "hobbyrom" - tror vi omskriver: hvis en rotete pult betyr et rotete hode, hva betyr da en tom pult - ditt rom tyder på AKTIVITET :-)))
Snax!
