Vacation sewing

Right before going on my summer vacation I received my order from Honeysuckle Cottage. Right in time to prepare the stitchery to bring it with me on my vacation. I had ordered the new book "A Christmas Story" from Anni Downs and the "Stitched Angel Bag" from Cinderberry stitches.

And I finished this stitchery in just a day. Now I have to find the perfect fabric and sew the bag.
I had also prepared the third block from Gail Pans BOM "Angel Sewing Basket" and finished this too. I look forward to get the next block now. This will be a perfect wallhanging on my sewingroom. But still six more blocks to sew.
And finally I finished the rest of the blocks for my Leannes House. I look forward to sew it all together, baste it and then handquilt it. But I know I will not be able to finish it before Leanne arrives in the end of october. I guess when I have my surgery I will not be able to sew a few weeks.

Block # 7
Block # 8
And finally block # 9
I had prepared more Applique Design blocks too, but I was not in the mood for that kind of sewing. Stitchery is a very easy and fun work to do when it's hot and I do not want to think so much :)
Saying for today:
A hug is a great gift -
one size fits all and it's easy to exchange

WOW, May Britt, you did such a GREAT job ! Your latest treats look so interesting, too. You really are a champ'!
Don't worry about Leanne's visit : you will show her all your beautiful blocks and it will be quite attractive for the other people there, to see the work at this stage (a good cook book is full of yummy ingredients photos, not only the finished casserole !) Smiles.....

A biiiig ((HUG)) to you !
(Take care with your arm)

All your stitcheries are adorable. I find these type of projects easy to take almost anywhere, there not too fussy. A very productive vacation you had. I love the angel with several purses and spools of thread hanging.

Wow! That's a lot of stitcheries to get done on vacation. I'm hoping I pack enough projects with me to keep me busy on vacation next week.

You were really busy! I love the Leanne's quilt. I wish I could figure out how to get the pattern and try it, too. At least I am getting Rose's patterns!

Your little stitched friend, the first one you showed, is so cute!

When is your surgery again?

PS. No way I will be able to finish my LH before Leanne arrives, but I will aim at finishing the blocks and join them. A doable plan for me :-)
Be gentle to your shoulder !
