Strange weather

After more than two weeks with a heat wave this happend today. A big hail storm. The temperature got very low, freezing cold and...............

........................ my DD had to make this little snowman. Isn't he cute.
So just some indoors activity today. Reading blogs and mails. And of course Frida wanted to be hugged, so she sat on my lap and talked to me about her day alone in the house.
As you read in my previous post Stina have challenged me to finish up my "Angel Story". We have mailed to eachother during the day and came up with following decision. By sept 30th (my birthday btw) we have to finish the top. And by jan 1th -09 it has to be quilted. Stina is far ahead of me and Marica so today I prepared three more blocks for this quilt.

Saying for today:
Angels are the keepers of magic and dreams

I think I have a quirk in my genes or something - I am urging to do the angel quilt too, and I have not even started yet hehehe.
Maybe I should stick with what I have going for at least another month and hope the angel urge goes away :-)

The angel blocks are going to be cute as can be. How many blocks do you need to make?

Aaaawwhh! What a cute snowman! You are right, what strange weather!
My cat used to sit like that with me when I sewed. (sadly this was a long time ago!)

Frida is so cute! Very fluffy. How much does he weigh - looks about 8 to 10 lbs?

Oliver often comes and sits on my lap when I'm on the computer. Purrs away while I type. More comfortable for him than me! Have fun doing the angels ... the blocks you've done look lovely.

You had hail, my sis called and said it rained cats and dogs, but here we hardly saw the asphalt get wet *lol* Strange weather, indeed!

Your Angels look wonderful!! I have wanted to make that quilt for a really long time! Had the book for at least a year. But... I think for now I try to get some progress on all my WISPS... Have fun!!

You are indeed busy on your sewing, I'm impressed. Didn't your arms go wrong some time ago? What was the cure? I'm a little depp. because of this "illness", hope it will recover soon, but I'm not very optimistic, that is...
Your angle quilt will be wonderful. Your cat is cute. Have fun!

Oh my....I hope that hailstorm did not hurt those beautiful herbs you showed us pictures of. Your angel blocks are intriguing...I can't wait to see it finished.

Catching up after computer problems. I'm sure someone has offered to send you that mag but if not I am more than happy to. I have been tempted by the "angel story" quilt I will add it to my to do list. Love the trip to the herb garden. Hope your warm weather comes back soon. Have a great weekend.

What a great incentive to finish up your Angel Quilt. I made an Angel cushion (last century) using one of Annie's patterns.
