A visit to the quilt shops

Friday morning the shops started to set up their shops in the "shopping street". A total of 21 shops had loaded their cars and hangers with sewingmachines, fabrics, books, patterns and everything a quilter wants. Some hectic hours before the "shopping street" could open.

Several shops had been visiting Ikea on their trip.

A lot of wonderful quilts was to be hung up.

And this is how the shopping street looked like some hours before the opening :)

And in the last minute they finished the last things on their shop and the doors could open for all the shopping hungry ladies. Just enjoy a trip down the shopping street with me :

I did not manage to take a photo of all the shops, but you agree with me that there was a lot of temptations. And when I take a closer look at these photos I see a lot of things I did not see earlier :)

Tomorrow I will start showing you photos from the exhibition.

Saying for today:

Whoever said money can't buy happiness
simply didn't know where to go shopping.

Utsøkte butikker;fint at du viser så mange bilder. Flott opplevelse av NQFs årsmøte i år også. Dere står på år etter år. Og det er riktig å variere med steder dere holder årsmøtet. Nå gleder meg til å se bildene fra selve utstillingen også. Den var like interressant i år som tidligere. Spennende å se mangfoldet i quiltene.

Tusen takk for at du delte dette May-Brit! Det var deilig å se, følte nesten at jeg fikk tatt på stoffene, quiltene og alle de flotte andre tingene som butikkene hadde med seg.

Thank you so much for sharing all the pictures. It just goes to show that quilting is truely a universal language as your shops look like our shops!
