Sorry not being able to blog neither post any comments to your blogs, but my arm/shoulder is giving my such pain now so it's hard for me to type on the computer. Yesterday I had to go to the hostpital because of so much pain. I got a local anesthetic in my shoulder and some strong pain killers. I'm so looking forward to my surgery aug 22nd. Hopefully thing will be better after the surgery.
So no sewing on me right now. Just watching tv and reading. Have to rest my arm now.
I want to seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I'll be reading all your blogs. I'm good at reading, but not typing right now :)
Saying for today:
Laughter is the best medicine

My dear - I am so sorry to hear of your physical distress - and even worse, no sewing! Best wishes for an easy and successful surgery, so you can get back to delicious fabric and thread!
I wondered if you were experiencing some pain - you've been very quiet all week. I'm really sorry that you the pain is so bad and I wish I was there to help you.
I'm so sorry to hear that you are in such discomfort, May. Although you must surely miss sewing, it is probably best not to put any stress on your arm at this time. I'm hoping Aug 22 rolls around quickly for you so that you can finally get some relief, and then you can sew to your heart's content! Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Sending big hugs your way, I can't even imagine how it must be to want to sew and to not be able to.

Aww big hugs sent to you May Britt, take it easy and enjoy the time to rest and relax before your surgery.
Ouch, too bad about that bad pain. I hope it lets up and you can make it to the surgery date without recurrence of the severe pain. Just do what you can and don't worry about what you can't.
So sorry about your arm. My husband just had back surgery and he is already feeling better. I am excited that he may be pain free or at least in a lot less constant pain very soon. I have the same prayer for you.
Hope the pain is relieved, & you manage to enjoy the reading & TV.
16 more days to your surgery and counting down.
I hope the days will pass as fast as possible for you. It is so hard to be in pain and even worse when you can not sew. I am feeling sorry for you and am sending you a lot of soft hugs

God bedring May-Britt. Håper du snart er på bedringens vei.
I hope you feel better after the surgery. Reading about what you enjoy may help you. Magazines or books about quilting or stitching.
So sorry to hear your arm is causing such pain for you. Hopefully the surgery will fix it. My husband sure felt better after his shoulder was fixed - after the initial surgical pain had gone away of course, which took a couple of weeks. I will say a prayer that you healing time is really short!
Sorry to hear that you are in so much pain and cannot do your quilting. May the surgery work and you get back to quilting before you miss it too much. Wendy
Best of luck with your surgery. It's truly amazing what wonders these surgeries can do. Prayers your way!
Så leit å høre at du er så satt ut. Håper du i alle får lest noen gode bøker og flotte quilteblader. Jeg har gitt deg en nominasjon i bloggen min om du ikke forsmår. Ønsker det god bedring og lykke til med operasjonen!
I am so sorry to hear about your pain. Dive deep into a pile of quilting books, and time flies. Wish you all the best.
So sorry you're in pain. We'll look forward to the day when you can stitch and type to your heart's content - and I'm sure you do!
oh no...so sorry you are in so much pain. I keep thinking of you often, usually when my shoulder reminds me about my operation!
Sorry your arm and shoulder hurt. I hope surgery fixes you completely! I love seeing your Leannes House blocks that you and Hanne are making... BEAUTIFUL!
Sorry to hear about your painful arm! I hope that the surgery will be successful so that you can be fully restituated for the week-end class in October. I have been reading your blog with pleasure for a long while, and been tempted to move carefully out in blogland! May be I'll see you in Trysil, because I am going to be there too! Take care and God bedring!
Oh May - I'm so very sorry to hear about all your pain. I'm finally getting a chance to catch up on blogs, and since yours starts with "A" you are one of the first. Here you've been suffering and I didn't know it! Sending lots of healing thoughts and wishes your way that your upcoming surgery will go well and you'll be sewing in no time. I can't imagine how you are standing it not sewing - going stir crazy I'm sure!
Sounds like torture to want to sew and not be able to. My mom has been having problems with her arm too and can only do certain things. Hope the surgery goes well.
Uff da det høres ikke noe godt ut. Ønsker deg god bedring og håper ikke smertene er for ille. Snart er du i full gang med å sy igjen:-)Varme klemmer fra Tina
hej may-britt,
i can sympathise with not being able to sew when you want to, it is just the worst! however, your body is not only telling you, but shouting at you to rest! listen to it carefully and you'll be better very soon. take good care of yourself, think positive and read lots of quilty books and magazines.
big hugs from sweden,
joolz
Poor you May Britt. You are probably too sore to even go shopping!
I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder pain. I've had shoulder pain off and on for about 7 years now. 4 years ago I had surgery and I felt better quickly.
Take time for yourself. We'll be here when you are feeling better.
All the best with the surgery!
