Are you focusing girls??

It really helps me focusing on a few projects. It is hard because I get tempted starting on new ones all the time. One of my focus projects is the easter bunnies. It is a pattern called Bunny Tales designed by Jo Ann Mullaly.

Today I sewed it together using only light green and pink. Feels a little bit to sweet at the moment, but I guess when spring comes it will look good on my wall. Will baste it this week and hopefuly start quilting on it.

While working in my sewingroom I started to look for some japanese fabrics. And that brought me to move all my japanese fabrics from the cupboard to this drawer. Now I have all my japanese fabrics at one place. Looks good doesn't it. I love japanese taupe fabrics, and I hope all shops joining our annual quiltmeeting in march brings a lot of them, because I need moooooooooooooore of them :)

I have quilted all blocks in the Christmas Wish quilt and today I got down on the floor and traced the border I want to quilt around it.

And while doing that I also traced the same border around my Leannes House quilt. This one have been missing the outher border for several years, so now it is time to finish this quilt.

A little sidetrack from what I planned to focus on this week. I had no more stitchery to work on, and me with no stitchery in my bag, is not working :) But guess what, I have traced all the blocks for this cat BOM, so I just grabbed january cat out of the box and started stitching on it.
Focus next week:
Cat BOM
Quilting on A Christmas Wish
Quilting on Leannes House
Basting Bunny Tales
But I know there will be sidetracs LOL

Saying for today:

My cat speaks sign language with her tail.

I just love your bunny quilt. The embroidery work is so cute. That would look just so pretty laying over a couch or chair. So pretty! Your Leanne House quilt is fabulous. It is so pretty.I love taupe fabrics. I really like using pretty bright flowers with the taupe's. I enjoy your blog a lot, and will be back again. Happy quilting!

Your bunny quilt does look very spring like. It will be a good one to set out during the spring months. I like it very much. JoAnn designs very nice stitchery projects.

I notice that you do a lot of stitchery projects that are turned into quilts. I have just started getting into that this past year.

Fnis! Ja, jeg er faktisk også ret så fokuseret i disse uger på min Harmoni BOM. Og så bare en enkelt ting mere. Jeg syntes, din liste med focus projekter bliver længere for hver uge eller tager jeg fejl?
Alt ser i øvrigt skønt ud! Knus

I love the Bunny Quilt. The colours are so fresh and "spring" like. You must be proud of yourself, you achieve so much in such a short time.

You are doing so well with your focusing and I just love all the projects and how you are making them.

The prior post and the "blue hour" are just fascinating. That blue is so intense. I would love to see that in person.

Happy Stitching!

I second Janet. Who is the designer for the Cat BOM blocks? I would love to do this also.

I noticed that you are quilting the Christmas Wish quilt by Gail Pan Designs. I also made that quilt, I am so stumped on how to quilt it. Wondering how you decided to quilt on it.....

Love all your work.

May Britt - I too would be interested to know how to obtain the cat BOM.

Your quilts and stitcheries are always lovely May Britt. I love the saying at the end of the post about the cat's tail too. One of my dogs Chloe speaks with her tail. The favourite one is Guilty Tail, where she flicks the end only, accompanied by a guilty face, and I know she's been up to something!

Det ser ut til å være mye lekkert i den "japanskuffen" din. Jeg har tatt fram en gd del av mine smalstripete her nå for å putte dem inn i ett teppe i lag med en haug med blomsterstoffer. Nydelige farver å jobbemed.
