I'm back sewing again :)
I just needed some days relaxing.
Yesterday after work I cleaned the house, slept an hour on the sofa and when I was ready to watch Prisonbrake at tv, I felt like sewing again. I quiltet a bit on my "say it with flowers". I have quilted 6 of 9 flowerblocks in it now. And I know I will finish it in time limit for our ufo challenge in november.I was tagged by Pat to show my favorite spot. And this is MY spot. When I am not in my sewingroom there is only one spot I manage to sew. If we got visitors and someone sits in my chair, I feel lost. I walk around in the house and feel bad. I do not manage to sew another place. Stupid or not????? On the little table besides the chair I have all my tools when sewing and under the table is a basket with some of my ongoing project, ready to sew on when I sit down in the chair. I have just tidy up my spot. It is not soooooo tidy all the time LOL When I am in sewing modus I have a lot of different projekts laying around my spot.
Do you remember the blocks I have made already from the book My mother taught me to sew And yesterday I prepared a new block and startet to applique it. I will continue sewing on this one this evening. I am so glad it is friday again. I will buy a bottle of redwine, make a good beef dinner for me and my DD. Sew a bit in front of the tv and then.......... as usual LOL.....I probably fall asleep in the chair.......I'm getting old you know LOL I am a bit curious.....and want to tag Amy at The calico cat, Tazzie and Cynthia to show their favorite spots.
My goal this friday evening: QUILTING

Nice spot - your chair looks so much more comfy than mine...
OK hon, I promise this weekend I'll share my favourite spot. Thank you for sharing yours!
*hugs*

It looks like you have your 'spot' set up just right. I'm glad you got the chance to be sewing again. We feel lost without it -- even when we are not in the mood.
Aby, it's great seeing your block that you're working on. I have that book but haven't started anything in it yet. I love your special spot for sewing...and know just how you feel when visitors are in and you can't get to your favorite spot. :) Hmmmm, can't wait to see that quilt that is on your lap!
AH your "nest" - that's what I call my spot in my home. I don't have a good spot in this house but I make do. Like you, I walk around in circles if someone sits in my "spot" - LOL Makes me crazy. I hope that you enjoy your Friday evening sewing. I haven't done any sewing in a few weeks - soon!
nice to see your Favourite Spot. I was wondering what quilt are you working on in the photo? Is it one you have shown before?
I think all you need for that chair is a cat to sit in your lap as you sew... :)
Why use English when you neither can spell nor the language!!!
Great favorite spot, and not stupid. We all have "zones" that we think of as our own, I think. It's very discombobulating to have someone take it!
I'm glad you got some sewing time in. The new block looks good!
Hey, Lillibeth, who pulled your chain? If you don't like it don't read it. And your English ain't so great either. Next time you want to make a snotty comment, I suggest you read through your text first.
Thank you for sharing your poem. Super blocks. Don't let people like Lillibeth put you off.
I hope you come back, lillibeth to check responses to your comment, you gutless wonder!! Please, Please visit my blog and leave disbariging comments there too. BITCH
I'm glad the comment didn't bother you May Britt, and delete this if you like I won't be offended, but I just can't stand people who don't own what they say.
