July have been a month filled with finishes. And it feels so good. One by one I have found WISP’s (Work In Slow Progress) in my boxes and drawers and started to work on them. Some there have taken me only 15 minutes to finish. Others I have worked on for a couple of days or more.
I wonder why some of these have been put away. Guess I have been thinking that because there is so little left to do on it, I can start a new project, and do the rest of it later.
Or perhaps it is because I have got bored of the old project and just had to start a new one. There is always so much that I want to make. So much inspiration in books, magazines, on net and to watch on other blogs.
I think bindings are so booooooring to sew down. But look at this lovely view I discovered in my shelf last night. While having Hanne and Bente over for a visit, I had decided to sew down bindings on some tablerunners. Boring work in good company makes it fun.
And now I have three new table runners. I do not know yet if they are going on my tables, or in my giveaway/to sell box.
This makes 8 finishes this month (so far, still some days left to make some other finished). It feels so good.

Your runners are very beautiful. I have been trying to work on UFO's too. And making a little progress.

Hugs :-)
Lovely "Saying for today".
Congratulations on 8 finishes...it should not be allowed to get that much finished in one month °! LOL
You still have 2 days before the month is over to start a new WISP or finish something ...I would go for starting a new WISP. LOL
I love the tabelrunners...where do you find such lovely patterns?
Keep inspiring me....if only I could send you some of my WISP then they could also get done...LOL
Hugs,Liz
It is just the best of feelings to finish off long forgotten projects! Well done. Love the table runners too. I agree that bindings are boring - I tend to sew mine in the evenings whilst watching TV - I hate it when I think I am on the last side - and then find there is still another to do - it seems to go on endlessly. Oh well, I guess it is a small price to pay for finishing off a quilt! Love your blog! Have a good day - Angie
You know... I love stitching down bindings! So relaxing to hand sew. Love all of your table runners too... so pretty.
My thoughts are with Norway and it's people who set such a shining example of steadfast solidarity in the wake of such a heart-rending event.
Gratulerer med flotte ferdige løpere :o) Nå har du vært veldig flink !
Bellísimo tu trabajo.
Un abrazo,

Your runners are lovely and 8 finishes in one month is a really great feat. I know what you mean about just having to start a new project and I have lots of WISPs. Take care.
What beautiful table runners! I really like the strawberry one, is the pattern commercially available?

Flotte løpere. Kjekt å ha noen ekstra hvis en trenger en gave feks
Wow! Your work is beautiful. I'm glad I stopped by.
Congratulations on all your finishes! I LOVE the red flower table runner. Just too cute!
You did bindings like the wind - I am proud of you :-)
Love those strawberries, what a pretty summer table runner. And sounds like you are enjoying your vacation!
