Tour de Fibre - Rain

I am still waiting for summer to arrive.

I want to sit out on the porch stitching.

Finished my Magical Christmas today.

And started a new stitchery. Just had to start something new now :) If you wonder what kind of pattern this is, just visit this blog and take a look at the cute stitchery she has designed. The best of all; she is giving us it free to use in our projects. Thank you Solveig :)

Tomorrow I will continue organizing my sewing room and perhaps pick another ufo from my box. And hoping the sun will shine :)

Saying for today:

Happiness is like a butterfly.
The more you chase it, the more it eludes you.
But if you turn your attention to other things,
it will come and sit softly on your shoulder

Love the chicken stitchery and went to the blog to read about it but of course I cannot read that language. What size is it and does the stitchery print out to the size needed for stitching? You do such wonderful stitcheries! I would love to do this stitchery for a friend who likes anything chickens!

oh...and I am slightly envious when I see the photos of your rainy days....we are so hot and dry in the US and longing for those rainy days you show and describe. enjoy while you have it! I would love to be there stitching in the rain! my favorite thing to do on days like that.

Næmen, så artig å se høna på stoff. Gleder meg til å komme hjem å prøve selv. Gratulerer med ferdistilt juleteppe. Magical Christmas er bare så flott. Jaggu flott å ha noe å sysle med i regnværet.Kos deg videre i inneværet:o)

Hello May Brit, I have a copy of the chicken pattern you are stitching. Please excuse my lack of knowledge of Norwegian speech. What does 'mine smating' mean please, in English? Thanks in advance!!!
