Day11:
I guess you are bored seeing all these daisies day after day LOL. But I am on a roll with them right now.
Everyone that knows me, knows that I love to do needleturn applique and I hate doing buttonhole applique by hand. But the daisies on these projects are appliqued by machine. It looks okey, and it is much more faster to do than needleturn applique. And sometimes I have to produce. Like now when I am making things for our marked in august. One set for me and one set (or two) for the marked.
Todays progress: All applique done on the tablecloth and 11 mugrugs. Tablecloth and 3 mugrugs ready to get their binding. 8 mugrugs waiting to be quilted.
Which way do you prefer to do your applique?
Saying for today:

your applique looks great........love the saying today........where do you find them all..........
Buttonhole applique by machine? Your flowers look good this way!
I do both ways, depending on the project and my mood.
Great rules for quilters!
I love your applique - it looks good :-)
Hey May Britt! WOW! You are getting so much sewing and stitching done at the moment! I love you daisies ... I think you working with blue must be as shocking to your friends as it is to mine when I work with pink! :0) Always enjoy your Tour de Fibre photo-fests ... happy stitching! Bear Hugs! KRIS
Kjempefine brikker, synes quiltingen din ser veldig fin ut.
Nej slet ikke kedeligt med blomster. Jeg forestiller mig allerede nogle her hos mig, men i pink, orange, gul og lilla! Faktisk applikere jeg gerne på alle måder - både i hånden og på maskine. Fortsat god "Tour"!
The applique is lovely May Britt..but the saying is perfect...
I love the button hole applique you have done. Those flowers lend themselves to it so well. I always do buttonhole stitch by hand. Only did needleturn once. Must try it again.
Hei, så lekre brikker og mugrugs!! Jeg har også sydd den løperen, og jeg vet at det blir fler. Min går i sort og rødt.
Ha en fin dag.
Kristin
I love your machine buttonhole appliqué, it looks great! I usually do a mixture of machine/hand buttonhole appliqué but I have never tried needleturn appliqué... I must try it! Love your mug rugs and your saying for today is great! Couldn't agree more!! Thanks for such a great blog, I really enjoy reading it!
Love your tablecloths and mug rugs!
Your shopping trip in a previous post looked fun. I liked how all the passengers were sewing/knitting away!
Great saying!!!
Carolyn :)
