And here it is finished. It says GOD JUL which means Merry Christmas. I am not sure what to make of it yet. Perhaps as a stuffed heart or as a applique on a bag. Will make something of it this holidays.I have also made a Merry Christmas version of this pattern. And I want to give it to all of you dear bloggerfriends as a little christmaspresent from me. You are so very generous with your talent, May. Thank you so very much! When I did lots of stitchery one made pillows, or framed it (at considerable expense), or put it on things that were used up fairly quickly - like dish towels and pot holders. I made so may flour sack dish towels for my mother that were completely "used up" until they became rags. Today there are so many different, wonderful things to make with stitchery. I think I must make it a point to do stitchery again in 2009.
Here I thought your design would be in Norwegian. It would say "May" even louder if the words were in Norwegian. We will all love it, I know!
