Starting to cut and sew today together with my two good sewing helpers. Both Frida and Rusken loves to sit/sleep on the sewingtable. Rusken is a naughty boy sometimes, stealing my fabric stripes and running away with them.
This is the makeup purse I made from the scraps. It is made in the same style as the Yoko Saito purse. But this time I sewed the log cabin together with machine. But I handquilted all the stripes. And guess what.......no scraps left from this project. Just a tiny few ones that are thrown in the waste basket.
I've had my DS and his girlfriend visiting this weekend, and Rusken really had a good time being spoiled.

Lovely purse set you have made :-)
Looks like both you boys enjoyed themselves.
You ended up with a beautiful set! Cute cats!!
Really ready for a nice travel or a visit to a quiltfriend.
Kjempefin sminkepung du har fått ved siden av veska. Dette var smart.

Love the bags. Nice way to use your scraps.
Beautiful bag, handsome DS. :-)
lovely bag and purse.
cheers Julz
Lovely make up purse and beautiful fabrics !! Where could I found this pattern ? Or maybe you've made your own pattern ? Very good job !
I love how you use every scrap and make such beautiful things! And all cats love to be spoiled! My Dad had a cat that would scratch you if you picked him up, but if you didn't want to have anything to do with him - well then he would sit on your lap for hours! Cheers! Evelyn
Love the cosmetic bag you made out of scraps. It's amazing how our little scraps add up. You did a great job using them up.
Your purses are adorable- a wonderful set!
Great use for those scraps. They certainly do have a "second life" now. A great one.
I love both, the bag and the makeup purse, they have such an elegant colour and carry a professional finishing.Great work !
