120 ladies has joined the DJ reatreat this year. And there was so fun to meet facebook and blogging friend in real person. Everyone had brought sewing projects. Some sewed by machine, others by hand.
I just love these old Singer sewingmachines. Would love to have one myself. There was several of these in the sewingroom. And they had such a nice sound when they sewed.
Lots of inspiraton around in the room. Here is some photos:

Looks like lots of fun! The little Singer Featherweights are fantastic. I have had one for 10 years and love it. Look on eBay because my mom and I were able to get one in great shape for less than $200 with shipping for my sister. Plus they are fun to,just look at!
what a wonderful gathering. re the sewing machine, my daughter has just g=been given a non electric singer and when she checked it out it was 1903 model brought out with a round bobbin instead of the shuttle. Want to have a go as she will never use it but so far she is being mean!!
