Norwegian Quilt Festival–part seven

Are you still with me?

Both friday evening and saturday evening we all met in the big conference room.

P1080563

Friday evening some of the teachers had ashow and tell with the quilts they was teaching this weekend.  Sorry about the photos, but it was a little bit dark to get good photos.  But enjoy the photos and get inspired.  Remember it is so much better to really be in the room and see them for yourself.

Saturday evening the foreign teachers gave “Who we are and how we work” and showed us even more quilts.  It was very interesting and I am so happy these teachers came over to Norway to teach at the quilt festival.

thank you so much for sharing this - I love seeing these quilts and the work looks wonderful and so many look like they were done by hand not machine. I love the old time feel of many of the patterns compared to the very modern look we see so much in the states - I prefer the older patterns and the look of them

such variety but I was surprised that there does not seem to be much in the way of bright colours, here bright is very popular at the moment. Sue Daley and Lynette Anderson stole the scene for me lovely quilts
